All of our wedding stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Silver Heart Wedding Stationery. Ownership of, and all rights created in relation to the contents of this website and our designs vest in us absolutely unless otherwise indicated. You (the customer), must not modify, copy, reproduce, upload, post, transmit or distribute by any means or in any manner whatsoever, any material or information or download from our website except where expressly invited to do so or indicated on our website.
Permissions
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material you ask us to include in your wedding stationery (i.e. poems, photographs, hymns and readings to be included in an Order of Service) and in particular, you indemnify Silver Heart Wedding Stationery against any action brought against it for breach of a third party's copyright.
Samples
Existing designs: Samples cost £2.50 which includes the cost of postage and packing. If you order from the range of a sample you have ordered and paid for then the cost of that sample will be deducted from the invoice for your order.
Bespoke designs
After an initial free meeting or discussion with you (the client), we will go ahead and design your stationery for you. This will incurr a design fee to be agreed at the consultation. We will then supply a free sample of the design to make sure that the colour and design meet your requirements. Minor changes will be made free of charge but major design alterations may require a further design fee. Further samples will be charged at £5. The cost of paid for samples will be deducted from any order that you place for that same design. Silver Heart Wedding Stationery owns the rights to any bespoke design created for you, and has the right to reproduce and add it to our standard range at any time. Silver Heart Wedding Stationery also reserves the right to use photographic images of your bespoke stationery design on the website, and use it in any form of advertising and promotional material.
Handmade items
Silver Heart Wedding Stationery cannot accept responsibility for colour and texture variations which occasionally occur within a product. Although every effort is made to reproduce colours accurately, due to digital imagery some colours shown on the website may not be exact representations of the actual colours used.
Those products that are handmade may differ slightly from product to product, this is not deemed a fault. Customers are also advised that due to the products being hand finished, there may be slight variations amongst individual items within an order, again this will not be deemed as faulty.
All products are finished to a high standard but due to their delicate embellishment, should be handled with care by the customer.
Silver Heart Wedding Stationery reserves the right to substitute a design element with an alternative (being of the same or better quality), should an item within our designs become discontinued or unavailable. If a suitable replacement cannot be found, we will contact the customer to discuss other options.
If a client orders wedding stationery in stages, then we cannot guarantee continuity in design including the colour shades of products used. Silver Heart Design cannot be held responsible for the natural ageing of products.
Placing an order and payment
Work on orders for stationery cannot commence without a £50 deposit (or 50% of the total orer if less than £100). You will then be given the date that production will begin. Once an order has been placed, we will advise you of a commencement date for each part of your order. We will also advise you by telephone or email when we will require additional information to complete your order and what this information is. These dates must be strictly adhered to as I must respect the dates scheduled for my other customers. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in your order being pushed back several weeks.
If you wish to order your stationery in stages, each stage of the order will be invoiced separately and full payment will be expected before work on the next stage commences.
No order submitted by you shall be deemed to be accepted by us unless and until we confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail or by telephone.
Goods and services purchased from this website are intended for your use only and you warrant that any goods purchased by you are not for resale and that you are acting as principal only and not as agent for another party when receiving the services.
On completion of your order the balance of your invoice must be paid before your goods are despatched. Payment can be in cash sterling, personal cheque or bank transfer. Payment of invoices should be paid in full within 7 days of receipt.
Proofs Drafts and Approval
Pdf proofs are provided by email unless you specifically request otherwise. Postage may incur a fee.
We take great care in producing your proofs/drafts, but as our customer, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of any copy supplied to us and to thoroughly check the wording of proofs/drafts created by us for you. Please note that although we check all drafts ourselves, mistakes are still possible and therefore you (the customer) must make sure that you are entirely happy with a proof/draft before you confirm and accept it with Silver Heart Wedding Stationery. Once you have confirmed that a draft is correct and have given us approval to have it printed, changes cannot be made and costs will be incurred if further amendments are requested.
All proofs/drafts must be signed dated and returned or confirmed by email. We will not be held responsible for any mistakes on stationery identified after the proofs/drafts have been approved. Work WILL NOT commence until proofs/drafts have been approved. Any delay in the customer failing to respond to a request that they check proofs/drafts within the specified time scale could result in a delay in your order being completed or your order being cancelled if there is not sufficient diary capacity to complete your order before your wedding date.
Prices
Our wedding stationery prices include: artwork, proofing, envelopes and printing. Prices do not include delivery.
A deposit of £50 is required before commencement of work. On completion of your order we are unable to dispatch any part of your stationery order for delivery until full payment is received. All prices listed on the website are correct at the time of publication however we reserve the right to alter these in the future.
All prices displayed on our website, quotes and invoices are non-negotiable. Prices for our bespoke service will be quoted on an individual basis depending on your requirements.

The computers are monitored daily for security breaches or unusual parameters and we maintain up to date firewalls and virus and malware protection. All staff are trained in safe computer use. We keep your information only as long as is required to perform our duties. After that time, information is securely destroyed, unless you specifically ask us to retain information for use in further stationery to be created at a later date. YOUR RIGHT OF ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION

You may request the removal of personal information; this may be subject to the continuing provision of the services you require us to perform. Delivery
Stationery is posted first class 'signed for' to provide proof of receipt. Please allow up to 7 days for delivery after notification of despatch. If you require a faster delivery or a special delivery time then please contact us with your requirements. This may incur an extra fee.
Any dates quoted for delivery of orders are approximate only and Silver Heart Wedding Stationery shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the order that is outside of our influence (see limitation of liability clause below). If you have not received your orders by the date specified then please inform us as soon as possible.
If you live locally and prefer to collect the order, please contact us. Silver Heart Stationery accepts no responsibility for goods lost in transit.
Table plans may be despatched separately as one parcel due to their size.
Cancellation of your order by Silver Heart Design
If Silver Heart Design is unable to complete your order for reasons outside of their control such as sourcing materials, or personal circumstances such as illness, your deposit will be reimbursed, but no further liability is accepted by Silver Heart Design for your order. If there is a problems with supply of materials, you will be offered alternatives to the materials if appropriate. If these cannot be found, the order will be cancelled and your deposit refunded.
Cancellations/Returns
You have the right to cancel any order within 14 days of placement. Orders can be cancelled after this 14 day period only as long as final proofs have not been confirmed and production has not commenced (We will let you know the date that production will commence when you place your order).
Any cancellation must be made in writing to Silver Heart Wedding Stationery via email. Failure to notify Silver Heart Wedding Stationery of the cancellation within this time will result in the deposit being retained by Silver Heart Wedding Stationery.
Please note that due to our products being handmade and personalised for each customer, refunds and exchanges will only be made if, in the unusual circumstance, that the stationery is faulty due to our own error; we will of course be more than happy to rectify this. Please contact us via email if there is a problem with your order. All defective work must be returned to us before we agree to replace goods or refund you. The cost of returning the goods to us must be paid by you unless we agree that the goods are faulty or damaged upon receipt by you. All refunds or re-credits will be undertaken within 30 days of notification of cancellation or return. If you are unable to send us the defective order we will assume that that the goods have been acepted and no replacements or refunds will be provided.
Limitation of Liability
Great care has been taken to ensure that the information available on this website is correct and error free. We apologise for any errors or omissions that may have occurred. We cannot warrant that use of the website will be error free, fit for purpose, timely, that defects will be corrected.
